An epic challenge involving almost 1200 players

When Australia and New Zealand challenged UK and Ireland to a friendly, how could anyone say no?

Time difference a problem? not at all. There were 2 sessions, so many players just HAD to get up at the crack of dawn (some setting their alarms for 6:15am).  For full details of results, see here:

Five directors looked after everyone. We encouraged learners to join in. As long as they had more than 6 months of lessons, that was good enough. They played in their own section, of course.
