South Africa

Tim first represented South Africa at the 1992 Olympiad in Salsomaggiore, and for the next 20 years he was a fixture in his national team. They reached the quarter-finals of the 1995 Bermuda Bowl in Beijing and were semi-finalists in the same event in Shanghai in 2007, the best ever performances by a South African team in a World Championship event. Tim has also served as a member of the WBF’s High Level Players Commission.

Netherlands

Simon is currently 10th in the WBF world rankings. Playing for the Netherlands, he has won the Bermuda Bowl, the World Bridge Games, and the European Team Championship, as well as many other top-level events.

Italy

Representing Italy, Giorgio has won the European Open Team Championship five times and the European Mixed Teams (in 2002), plus six world titles, the Bermuda Bowl twice (in 2005 and 2013), the Rosenblum Cup in 2002 and the World Team Olympiad three times (in 2000, 2004 and, 2008).

Sweden

Peter was the winner of the Open Pairs at the 2009 European Transnational Championships, and finished second in the 2005 European Champions Cup, the 2006 Rosenblum Teams and the 2010 World Pairs. Representing Sweden, he collected a silver medal at the 1999 European Teams Championship.

England

Jason's first medal was in the winning team at the 1994 Junior European. More recently he has achieved second places in the 2008 World Bridge Games and the 2014 European. Jason is also well known as the founder and organiser of the annual Mutton Cup, a high-level individual event held in Spain every year.

Australia

Sartaj has been a regular member of the Australian Open team since making his debut at the 2004 Olympiad. He collected a silver medal from the Transnational Open Teams at the 2011 World Championships in Veldhoven. At the 2022 World Championships in Wroclaw, his Aussie/Kiwi team reached the Last 16 of the main event, and Sartaj made it to the final of the Open Pairs playing with Peter Gill. The team that included Sartaj and fellow-panelist Andy Hung finished second in the prestigious Reisinger BAM Teams in 2024.
Sweden

Simon first represented Sweden in 2011, collecting a bronze medal in the Youngsters Teams at the European Youth Championships. In a glittering career as a junior, he won the World Junior Teams three times, as well as the European Under-26 Pairs and the European Under-26 Teams. Whilst still a junior, he was a member of the Swedish Open team that reached the quarter-finals of the 2019 Bermuda Bowl in Wuhan. He is now a regular member of the national team.

Australia

Andy has represented Australia in various levels starting from the Youngsters then Juniors followed by the Open Teams. With many Australian national wins under his belt, he has also had respectable results in the international tournaments such as coming (equal) third in US Bridge Championships in 2019, 2022, and 2023.
Besides competing in tournaments, Andy is also a renowned Bridge teacher in Australia, teaching at all levels from complete Beginners to coaching National level players, as well as mentoring junior players. To further his versatility, he often runs Bridge holidays in Australia and in Europe, has been the Bulletin Editor for Australian and international events, and he is also the only person who has been known to Vugraph Operate 2.5 tables simultaneously!

Switzerland

Playing for Poland and Switzerland, Michal has won the Bermuda Bowl three times, as well as many wins in the Rosenblum, WBF and EBL transnational events, and top events at NABCs.
As a junior, he represented his native Poland with distinction, winning the Youngsters Teams at the 2012 World Championships, then the Junior Teams at the 2015 European Championships and the 2016 World Youth Teams. In between those two victories as a junior, Michal was a member of the Poland team that won the 2015 Bermuda Bowl, becoming the youngest player ever to win the Bowl.

Jessica first represented her country in the Schools event at the 1998 European Youth Team Championship, finishing fourth. She collected a silver medal from the Womens Teams at the 2018 World Bridge Series. Representing Sweden, she earned bronze in the Womens Teams at the 2010 European Championship and silver at the same event in 2018, before winning two successive Venice Cups in 2019 and 2022.
